About Us

Conceived from a love of all things coffee and Vizslas, Red Dog Coffee Roasters is a small-batch coffee roaster located in Buchanan, MI.  We strive to offer the freshest coffee available by only roasting once an order has been placed.  

Erin- A lifelong lover of dogs, Erin discovered the velcro-intensity, unconditional love, and extreme energy of Vizslas when she brought Roo home in February 2011.  A former professional mountain bike racer, cycling coach, bike shop manager, and veterinary technician, Erin was inspired by Roo to start Red Dog Coffee Roasters; how else can humans possibly keep up with Vizslas other than consumption of large amounts of caffeine? 

Roo- Born on December 1, 2010 in Waterford, MI, Roo found her best friend, constant companion, and adventure partner when Erin brought her home in February 2011.  Roo's responsibilities at Red Dog Coffee Roasters include: Chief Bark Officer, head of marketing, quality control, tennis ball hoarder, and treat tester.  While not involved with her work duties, Roo enjoys upland hunting, mountain biking, trail running, hiking, snuggling with her humans, swimming, rolling in smelly things, and of course, eating.
